3 reasons why the lard is the best!

My love for the pig runs deep: it had been a crucial part of my diet for a long time, but it wasn't until last month that I had a chance to try out the fat it produces: lard. And boy was it worth it: lard is officially my personal cooking fat!

These days, lard is being vilified for contributing to heart disease, when we clearly know that it's margarine and vegetable oils that are the real culprits. I'm going to list 3 reasons why lard is such a wonderful product:

"There are videos on you tube on how to make your own lard.  It's possible to buy organic fat and make lard in your crock pot.  It seems like organic fat is easier to find than the organic lard."
