In September 2009, member Keith Youngblood related that although their website does not mention they have lard, when he called they had leaf lard for $3.19/lb. and "Back Fat" lard for $1.22/lb. , which are great prices! Not sure if they are willing to ship, but you can definitely go by if you live in the Olympia area! You can follow Keith's discussion to see how his trip to the source turned out.

Any good sources for California lard, or at least some west of the Rockies?

Try localharvest.org I managed to buy some there but it was expensive. I can't attest to the quality yet.
